hello,
we want that when we assign a group to an app, we could choose the username that will be sent FOR EACH of the group members, instead of their own username.
is that possible to do in okta?

Thank you for posting on the Okta community page!
When assigning users to an application through groups, the value of the application username will be taken based on the "Okta Username format" option found under the App profile in Okta >> Sign On tab.
You can select for the Okta Username format to be custom and you will be able to create a custom expression based on what you would like for the username to be.
Keep in mind that this option applies to all the users assigned to the application, therefore all users assigned to the app will be impacted by this change.
