Hi,
One of our requirements is that a username may include both an email address and a mobile number. This means that a user should be able to log in if they use their email address as their username, and if they use their mobile number. Is that possible?

Hi @servicea.28287 (Customer),
Thank you for posting on the Okta community page!
I have done some research and unfortunately the users can only authenticate to Okta by using the value of the username attribute set upon their profile, therefore if you would like for the users to use their email and mobile no. when authenticating, you will have to remove the format restriction for Okta Username and modify the value of the attribute based on what the user should use to login.
Additionally, it seems that is not possible to use either email or mobile no. as the user must enter the value configured for his username attribute. If you would like to see such functionality, I would recommend to submit a feature request. The best way do so, would be from the community site.
Once feature requests are submitted they are visible to other Okta admins, who can vote on them to provide more visibility. Using this method will allow you to maintain visibility on your feature requests throughout the process.
I hope the above information is useful!
