Hi. We recently federated Office 365 to Okta. Everything is working fine. Question on best practice moving forward.
How best to create new users the most efficient way? When we set up a new computer for the user, we like to set it up as complete as possible for the user; ie. Outlook, Teams, etc. Since O365 is now through Okta, we cannot log in as the user unless we set up MFA (we think) which we can do, then wipe out all factors for the new user to create on their first day.
Our setup
- On Prem AD
- AD syncs to Azure AD (Azure AD Connect)
- AD syncs to Okta to create the user account which sits in the Directory Integration window in Okta until we "Confirm"
Looking around, I don't see much on this.
