Okta hijacks all YouTube sign in page navigation preventing non-work signin; this is a bug do not close without software fix

Hi, there's a major defect that you've been ignoring and giving rude "solutions" to for years now where users are unable to access their personal youtube accounts due to workplace okta usage. I was already logged into my personal google account prior to my work switching to Okta, now I'm entirely unable to access that youtube account because of okta, even though that session is still authorized. I can still access my personal gSuite account applications for mail and calendar by navigating to my custom-domain's app-specific sub-domains, like `mail.example.com`, `drive.example.com`.

Just add account switching functionality, like how google accounts are supposed to work??

Hello @1cn7m (1cn7m) Thank you for reacting out to our Community!

From our end, this is not possible as we do not have way to restrict website access. However if you access your personal Youtube account and then login into your browser with your work email, then your Youtube login will also be directed to the account logged in into the browser.

Hope this helps and if this answered your question, please mark this as Best Answer!

@Paul S. (Okta, Inc.) this is a bullshit answer and the OP is 100% accurate in describing a problem that surely thousands of users experience. If I log into my personal google account (the only way to do it without Okta login taking over the process is by visiting Sign in - Google Accounts) - I can then navigate to docs, sheets, mail, etc. just fine within that same account, but when I switch to Youtube (I've tried in Chrome, Safari, and in Regular + Incognito/Private windows) and click 'log in' Okta login screen takes over. Give us a real solution my man!
