Username comes blank in OKTA ( UKG as Master)
Hi,
We were able to set up Report-as-a Service API from UKG to OKTA. Per our set up, Username is set up by UKG report and is mapped be default to OKTA login under OKTA user profile. When we run the integration, we can see a name and an email address from UKG but Username is blank and OKTA profile cannot be created. In our case Username = Email address.
If there was an issue with either permissions to the report or to the web service, we would have seen an error during the API call, but it shows as successful and we can see some attributes ( email, name).
Would appreciate ideas on how to troubleshoot this further?

Check if you have the proper setup under Directory→ Profile Editor→ UKG→ Mappings→ To Okta.
If for the Okta "login" attribute it says "username is set by UKG" , check under Applications→ UKG→ Provisioning→ Settings/To Okta→ Okta Username Format. There might be something off there, if the values are being properly passed from the app to Okta.
