Switching to new MS tenant for O365 app

We are currently using OLDTENANT01 as MS tenant for our O365 app integration with Okta. When we switch over to new tenant, do we just change the tenant name from OLDTENANT01 to the new name NEWTENANT01 and then re-federate the domain?

please share your experience if you have done this in your environment

    Hello there,

My name is Norbert and I will assist you with your matter.

The first thing you should do is to deprovision the app and after that just create a new instance in Okta with your new tenant.

If this is not working, please open a support ticket with us and we will be more than happy helping you through this process.

I wish you all the best!

    Thank you,

Will the users need to re-enroll their current MFA factors?
