AlexanderG.82375 (Customer) asked a question.
Does anyone else experience frequent disconnects of their AD Agent and then it reconnects a minute later according to emails? I've reached out to Okta support and they say its a network block, but we've whitelisted all the traffic they needed and it works every day aside from that 1 minute disconnect in the middle of the night.

Hi @AlexanderG.82375 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!
Sounds like an environmental issue to me.
My advice would be to check the AD agent logs to get the exact time-stamp for the event then compare that with the Windows Event Viewer logs to find what else happens at that time on the host server.
Maybe check the connectivity between the Host server and the Domain Controller.
I've also see things like "The error code that Windows is reporting (0x800705B4) seems to be related to some updates that the software needs to do. It is possible that at the time that the agent disconnects, Windows is trying to update the software."
Antivirus softwares have also been known to cause this type of issues.
There's also this article, see if it helps you identify the issue:

Hope it helps!
Yes this happens to us as well, we have multiple AD agent servers and it seems to be random. It will occur in the middle of the day or night and cannot be linked to any work being actively performed on the server. It is not so problematic if it reconnects in a minute or two but there are times where one does not reconnect for a few hours. We have not been able to find a root cause but it began within the last 6 months or so.
We are having the same issue. Support asked us to do a fresh install but the problem still persist and randomly.
I wish support would be more helpful troubleshooting the issue. It is hard to troubleshoot when we do not have access to all logs from the Okta backend.
