How to use biometrics as a two-factor authentication

Hello there, I'd like to give my customers the option of using biometrics or a password to log in. So I want both options on the sign-widget. I looked over the documents and discovered that this might be possible with FIDO. Is there, however, a proper guide on how to achieve this?

Hi @Paul S. (Okta, Inc.)  thanks for replying. But I want customers to give an option b/w password or generic biometric(fingerprints) as login. We tried using FIDO but it has limitations like it supports only (windows hello, apple touch ID & security keys). So, using FIDO won't fulfill our requirements. Can you suggest a way to setup Biometrics(fingerprint) as an optional login factor along with password.
