Hello we have two Active Directories connected in our Okta Tenant. Let's say they're org1.local and org2.local. We are going to now move org2.local as a subdomain under org1.local. What are the implications to all the current users imported? Will I need to re-import?

Thank you for posting on the Okta community page!
I have done some research on my end and it seems that it depends on what you have set as an option for "Imported user is an exact match to an Okta user if " on the AD to Okta provisioning settings tab, because if the attribute used changes, once you migrate org2.local as a subdomain under org1.local, the next import it will create new users and it will not match the already existing ones. An import would be recommended in order to sync the data from Active Directory and make sure that the AD agent sees the users in the new AD sub-domain.
Additionally, I would recommend to firstly try this in a preview/sandbox environment to make sure that all settings are configured correctly.
