    Hi Lisa Preissler,

    You can achieve this using automations

    1. In the Admin Console, go to Workflow > Automations.
    2. Click Add Automation and enter a name for the automation. Click Save.
    3. Click Add Condition ( Select a condition you prefer)
    4. Click Add Action & select the action type as 'Change user lifecycle state'
    5. Then change the user state to Deactivate
    6. After that you have to configure a schedule when this automations run
    7. Select the Group to which this automation should apply.
    8. After saving all the conditions make the status as Activate

      Hi @b5n6c (b5n6c)​ 

      When I try to follow the above steps I am not able to Activate the workflow. I am being told I need to add a user condition and all of the options are irrelevant (User Inactivity in Days - I need it to run when HR schedules a termination. Password Expiration - We don't expire passwords). How do I get this automation to Activate?

    @jp5e6 (jp5e6)​ Above automation is simple workflow based user inactivity / password expiration.

    Hope you have enabled LCM with HR system, if yes you can take an action based on HR system event like termination/ activation. Or you can use Okta workflows for joiners or movers process, if your HR system not supported with LCM.

    Click on Workflow--> Workflows console..

    There are some out of box template available to use or you can customise based on your requirement.
