klcve (klcve) asked a question.

RADIUS apps using same port

Can we have multiple apps use the exact same radius port? For example if we have custom apps we built and firewalls and vpn and cyberark and they all use RADIUS can we have them all use port 1812 with the same secret key and it work?

We do not want to have to create a new port for ever application we have in our environment we want to have one port that is open and all apps use that one port to authenticate users.

i understand the authentication behavior/policy would be exactly the same for all apps and we are okay with that.

Hello @klcve (klcve) Thank you for reaching out to our community.

Unfortunately this is not an option, you can use the same secret for all apps, however you would need to use a different Port for each application.
