dse7i (dse7i) asked a question.

What is the unit of measurement for "factorLifetime" in the Policy API?

The policy docs mentions a factorLifetime but it doesn't say what unit of time it is. Is it minutes, hours, days?

https://developer.okta.com/docs/reference/api/policy/*:~:text=false-,factorLifetime,-Interval%20of%20time

Is it the same for the Terraform provider: https://registry.terraform.io/providers/okta/okta/latest/docs/resources/policy_rule_signon*mfa_lifetime ?

  • Hi @dse7i (dse7i) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

The time unit is in minutes for "factorLifetime" and the same rules should apply in Terraform.

    Hope this helps!
