    Thank you for posting on the Okta community page!

     

    You can provision custom attributes from Okta to Active Directory but only if you already have an attribute that you want to update on the AD side.

     

    In order to push new custom attributes from Okta to AD, you will have to first create a custom attribute on the Active Directory side that you will have to bring in Okta through the API schema. Once the AD attribute is added through the schema, you can go to mappings and there you can map an Okta attribute (default/custom) to update the newly created attribute in Active Directory.

     

    Additionally, you can map custom Okta attributes to already existing attributes on the Active Directory side, but you will have to make sure that the attribute in question (from AD) is brought through the schema into Okta in order to be able to create the mapping from Okta to AD.
