Hello,
Im wondering if we update our default password policy if that will force users to recreate passwords or if it will just use this policy on passwords moving forward.
I want to make sure that updating this policy doesn't force all of our users to update their passwords as that will create mass network authentication for our users until they are able to do this.

Default Policy applies to new apps and users for whom other Okta org Policies do not apply. So if you make any changes in default policy it will applies to the users who are not part any other password policies.

I do believe this clarified some things, but not necessarily the answer I was needing. I did end up getting a response from the support team stating that the changes will be for password creation or reset moving forward and not require retroactive passwords to be adjusted.
