Hello - is it possible to assign an application to all people in a group but then hide the app so they don't see the icon for only SOME of the users (I know it's possible to do for all)

Thank you for posting.
You can hide the app from all and then create a bookmark app, pointing to the hidden app, and assign it to the needed users.

It doesn't make any sense. When I have an option to directly assign the hidden app to the needed users then why would I create a bookmark of it and then assign the bookmark to needed users? Can I assign the app to a group of users ( as this is the only group I can use ) and also hide this app to a few users in the same group?
