Is it possible to provide a password to a password protected URL from okta?

Hi there, I would like to add a link inside okta to a website only people from our organisation can access. We have password protected the URL which is the same password for everyone. As long as a user has an ITV okta account, they are allowed to access the website. So we want to provide the password to the URL in the background from inside okta, is this possible?

Many thanks

Jackie

  • Hello @JacquelineH.26901 (Customer)

    Thanks for posting.

You can use an app integration's embed link to add an Okta-managed application to a portal or other external location.

    1. In the Admin Console, go to Applications >Applications.
    2. Select the app integration that you want to embed.
    3. Click the General tab.
    4. Select and copy the Embed Link URL. Paste it into your portal or other external location outside of Okta.

Your users can now use this link to sign in to this app from outside of Okta.

Please also take a look at the following document as I think it might be useful:

Let us know if this helps you.
