otain (otain) asked a question.
Our Salesforce Org has multiple managed packages which require license assignment for users to be able to use the integrated product. We are currently able to assign Permission Sets for these managed packages to users using Okta but we'd like to also be able to assign product licenses via Okta without having to follow an additional step in Salesforce (Setup> Installed Packages > Manage Licenses). Is this possible with Okta? Many thanks! - Lucia

Hello
Thanks for posting.
You can manage Feature Licenses and Public Groups for users by enabling the corresponding checkboxes on the User Assignment page.
Note that Feature Licenses depend on the selected user Profile. If you select a Feature License that is not supported by the selected Profile you will encounter an error, as described in Troubleshooting Tips.

Hi Daniela,
Thanks a lot for your reply and the link. That doesn't exactly answer my question though.
I am referring to licenses for Managed Packages installed in our org (like Conga Composer product licenses and not Salesforce Feature licenses like "Marketing User").
Can you please confirm whether or not it is possible to manage the assignment of paid managed packages licenses via Okta or not?
Thank you,
Lucia
