Suspend a user when passed a defined time

I have read the Automation documentation and checked it on my domain. In Okta, it seems while creating an automation flow for 'User inactivity' and 'User password expiration' is possible, there is currently no mechanism for creating an automation flow for when a set amount of time has passed since a defined time, e.g., to suspend a user one year since activation. Is there any way of achieving that sort of mechanism, whether through manual filtering or automated flow?

  • Hello @6dqx9 (6dqx9)

I hope you are having a great day

Thank you for posting, You can create the Automation Rule based on Inactivity. Go to the Workflow --->Automation ---->Create Automation. Define the condition based on User Inactivity & then the Action to be taken,

You can learn more about this topic in the link below: https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/automation-hooks/automations-main.htm

    Have a great day ahead

Hi @User16308869954358539580 (Okta), and thank you for your reply. As I already said, I went through the automation 'User inactivity' trigger, yet it does not answer my described case, in which (for example): after a year since activation ==> change the user status.
