c2ziv (c2ziv) asked a question.

Remote server not in Domain/corporate Network

Hello,

I have setup ASA and did all the initial setup and config. Also, installed the agent on the remote server, configured, added the token on the remote server, but it is not adding to the ASA Project Server list. That server is an Ubuntu machine.

Is it necessary to have the servers should be in the corporate network/domain? Can we add the server which is from outside the domain?

  • Hello @c2ziv (c2ziv),

If the project server list has not been added then you can check if the server is reachable in the network and if SFTD is running properly.

In addition, Yes, it is possible to use external or internal servers because the ASA uses local users and not Domain-based users.

If you need additional information, I suggest you use the link below as a reference to reach our helpdesk team and get further assistance with your deployment.
