Hey Team,
I am enabling self service for application in our OKTA tenant.
Its working fine, but many of our application assignment is done via either okta group or AD groups.
Self service allowing us to assign the application via individual not via group
Is it possible self service can add user to specific group when approved or we have to manually convert assignment
e.g, if we have application call Github, to get access to this application we assign the user to github okta group and application assigned to user, with self service app integration if manager approve the request application does assign to user but then user is not member of the Github Okta group. Is it possible when manager approve user will then automatically assigned to the group as well??

Hello @RamnikS.55827 (Customer),
Yes, it is possible to add a user through the groups, to meet this goal you need to enter the names of existing groups that users will be added to automatically when they self-register. Group membership determines which password policy is applied during registration. You can only enter existing groups. If no group is specified, Okta applies the Default password policy. For details on creating password policies, see Authentication.
You can specify multiple individuals or groups to create an approval chain. An approval chain can't exceed ten levels, and you can't enter the same individual or group more than once.
