Google Workspace Org. Units not imported into OKTA

hi People, I set up Google workspace API & SAML correctly , successfully imported users and groups , but it didnt import the organizational units at all, any help is appreciated. I do not have Microsoft AD or any other Directories , it is fresh set up of OKTA.

    Hi Ahmed. Thank you for posting.

     

    Please action a refresh in Okta for the data to re-sync in Google Workspace.

    To do this, please log into the Okta Admin Dashboard, then click on Applications > Applications > More > Refresh Application Data.

     

    If above fails, please try option 2 and option 3 methods;

     

    option 2

     

    Navigate to G suite > Provisioning > API integration > Re-authenticate with G-suite. 

     

    option 3

     

    1. Log in to the Okta Admin console
    2. Navigate to the G Suite application in question
    3. Click on Import > Click Import Now 

    To verify that new OUs are showing up in Okta:

    1. In the G Suite application, click on Assignments 
    2. Click the Edit "Pencil" button to view one of the current users, under Organizational unit dropdown, you should be able to see the new OU
    3. New OUs should also show up when assigning the G Suite application to new users
