push AD group to service now

I have tried to resync okta to service cow i mean service now. i have a group that has 13 entries of members. THe ad group and okta group associated have both 15. Why does this happen and is there a sync issue?

  • Hello @aoddv (aoddv),

    Thanks for posting.

If the two additional users exist in Okta and also in AD indeed these users exist.

The following document provides details about the process followed during the integration and Users import and provisioning:

    https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Provisioning/ServiceNow/OktaIdentityCloudDeploymentGuide.pdf

No additional users are created on Okta, or AD different than the ones created in ServiceNow if two users are failing it might be something about the attributes that are not matching and that's why the users are not syncing. Most of the time to review these details it is necessary to get in a call or have impersonation permission from your side. At this point, we don't know if the users are mastered in AD and imported to Okta and then pushed to ServiceNow, or if they are mastered in Okta and imported to AD and then pushed to Service now, we will need to track a test user's flow and check if all the attributes are imported correctly into Okta, as the issue might be related to the expression language used in the attribute mappings.

If further assistance is required I suggest you open a ticket with Support for more specific assistance of your case.

Please let us know if this helps.

    Regards,
