Trouble enrolling a Feitan ePass FIDO NFC Security Key key with Okta

We have integrated/configured about 20 of these with Okta so far. We have had trouble twice. On the first PC we had troubles with, we ended up replacing the machine, thus the trouble went away. We never knew the cause of the issue. The second case is current and began yesterday (Tues, Nov 9th, 2021). While enrolling the Feitan fido key, I was never prompted to input a PIN *. The device does work with Okta, albeit absent a PIN*. This is not secure. I tried to reset multifactor, clear user sessions and reset behavior profile. I have tried all these multiple times, to no avail. The device works, but without a PIN*. I tried a second Feitan fido key and the results were the same, leading me to believe the issue is not with the fido key itself, but with Okta somehow.

 

Do you know of a way to get Okta to allow me to enroll the Feitan fido key for this account, and prompt for the input of an associated PIN* to be used with the fido key??
