GreggH.37535 (ITX Tech Group) asked a question.
Good morning!
We have two Okta AD agents installed. When they disconnect, most usually for a patching reboot, they reconnect within a minute or two. However, they still generate a disconnect and reconnect notice and the email wakes me up.
Is it possible to tune that interval to a slightly longer time, say, 5 minutes? That way we eliminate the false positives and still get notified if there's a more serious issue needing investigation.
Thanks to all for looking!
Gregg

Hello @GreggH.37535 (ITX Tech Group)
Thanks for sharing your inquiry with us.
Based on documentation Okta AD agents send periodic messages to Okta. If Okta does not receive a message for 120 seconds, the Okta AD agent is marked as unavailable. After 30 days of inactivity, the API token assigned during the agent installation expires and you'll need to re-install the agent.
This value is not customizable, is fixed for all the customers the same way.
You can find complete information here:

As a suggestion, since this sounds like an interesting idea, we have a website where our customers can submit feature requests and changes on how Okta currently works, it is public and can be voted by other customers to get more visibility, that way the Engineering Team review it and if necessary they implement it.
You can submit your request here ideas.okta.com
Let me know if this helps.
