IoanaP.07520 (Customer) asked a question.

How to search for error codes in System Log?

I'm searching in System Log using an advanced filter: debugContext.debugData.errorCode eq "oaeCcxI4F9nQ8WxEEBLKKjtoQ" , but the search doesn't return anything.

This error code is return to our service by Okta, when calling an Okta API.

Maybe the debug context needs to be somehow enabled for our organisation or am I missing something else?

Thanks!

  • Thanks for the inquiry. Errors returned by the API aren't captured by the System log. You have to troubleshoot the problem based on the error code received.

If this doesn't help, please open a ticket with Okta Support for troubleshooting assistance with the API call.

    Thanks.
