How to implement SSO using okta between two OIDC SPAs?

Hi,

We have two SPAs in Okta and we want user to not have to login when going from one app to the other.

I saw https://devforum.okta.com/t/how-to-use-okta-for-sso-between-multiple-apps-in-net/147/5 and https://devforum.okta.com/t/how-to-integrate-multiple-applications-under-single-sign-on-in-okta/11630/4, but they do not give a clear answer.

Copying over token from application storage is an option. I am assuming this would work only when scopes required by both apps are the same. But if this is possible, I have the following next set of questions:

  1. Would this work by copying over just the token from one app to another?
  2. Would token refresh also have to be taken care of manually for the other app?
  3. Would logout work in both the apps independently? I am assuming yes.

    Hi Ashwini,

    Cosmin here with Okta Support.

We usually recommend raising these type of questions on the DevForum for best answers or opening a Support Case, which I see you already did, and one of our developers is assisting you.

On that note, I will be closing this thread.
