Separating GSuite Accounts from Okta

Hi, friends -

Is there a way to separate GSuite accounts from Okta?

Context:

I have some shared/non-user GSuite accounts (used for calendars and booking conference rooms; not assigned to a specific end user) that I would like to separate from the Okta integration.

When we create our GSuite accounts, they are initially created in Okta and then activated from the Okta interface.

Since they are set up through Okta, are they able to be separated out?

Any guidance/advice here is appreciated!

Best,

Katie

    Marius here, from Okta Support.

Having some accounts separated from the Okta integration cannot be achieved, as the integration is done based on the G-Suite domain. Once that domain is federated with Okta, all the applications within the G-Suite library of that particular domain will be accessed through the new IdP, and users will be redirected to sign in with this IdP account credentials.

Maybe create a new upn for thoes and dont federate that namespace.
