MichaM.12476 (Customer) asked a question.

Overwrite okta groups ID with own UUID

Hello,

is there an option to overwrite the OKTA group ID with a custom UUID? So that we're able to request the API with the UUID instead of the OKTA standard ID?

Use case: We would like to use UUIDs as unique identifiers in our system (Security) and instead of saving a UUID and the OKTA group ID, we would like to have only one persistent UUID in all systems.

    Hi Micha,

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Unfortunately you can't do this, you can't have only one persistent UUID in all systems and there is no option to overwrite the OKTA group ID with a custom UUID.

I hope this answer helped you and don't forget to contact us in the future if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
