Is it possible for OKTA to do a Bulk Password update in a target system? We have a system that's using secure SSO today for about 300 users - so passwords in the target system are not required for routine logins. The target system has an add on specialized application that cannot use SSO - only for about 10 users. Is there a way to force a password sync for those 10 users only so the user's OKTA password can be pushed to it? Currently it appears we can only get the password to sync if the user initiates a password change. We have a third party password sync service on the target system, and a third party agent installed in OKTA for this purpose. A similar question was asked by a customer in 2020 - but the thread was closed before a response was made. Hi Eric,
The only supported ways to trigger a password sync update from Okta to an application are:
Refer to this link for more information on Password Synchronization: https://support.okta.com/help/s/article/Password-Synchronization-Overview?language=en_US#OktaToApplicationSyncOktaPassword
At this moment, there are no supported options to bulk password update for multiple users, however, it might be possible to achieve this with the use of scripts.
