Third party application POST login URL not working

Very new to Okta so please bear with me. We have an application that we would like to protect using Okta SWA. The app is exposed to the internet and I have pointed Okta to the login URL (what I have found in Network if Chrome inspector.) From Okta's perspective we passed the credentials using the browser plugin successfully. The app still sits at the login page. Underlying tech seems to be Java and there is no login form to lookup post and redirect. Anyway, I am at the point where I need help.

    Hi @NathanB.53558 (Customer) ,

Are you intending for your app to redirect somewhere other than the login page? You can try setting a redirect URI for your app if you would like Okta to redirect to a different page after authentication. This could be done in the app's settings in the Admin console.

Otherwise, if this doesn't resolve your issue, I might recommend opening up a support case for further troubleshooting

It's really the inability to target the username and password fields on the app page I am trying to authenticate.
