We want to use OKTA as the directory server we do not have a directory server either online or inhouse. We have many groups in Google workspace all ready and want to integrate our Okta deployment as the Primary source of truth AKA Directory server. My question is this do I have to set all the same groups in Okta that are currently in Google as to not recreate the users as all the users have been added in Okta as well a google. I cannot find any information about what happens if we do this. I want to add that currently we are running OKTA in SWA and once we get all users assigned and all apps and services work we are going to convert all services and apps that can be to SAML. Please let me know if more info is needed to clarify what we are trying to accomplish.

To work with group push is necessary to have already enabled SSO SAML (No SWA ) between Okta and Google workspace, and then you can enable provisioning.
