New Salesforce Schema attribute

We have a new attribute in the object schema of Salesforce called 'persona'. I am aware of how to add SF Schema attributes to the profile. However, when I try to add this new attribute, it does not show the 'persona' in the pick up attribute list in Okta.

Does Okta support updating this user attribute? if yes, please advise how to add.

    Hello,

First, you need to have that attribute added to the Okta user profile and then mapped with your Salesforce attribute.

To achieve this please follow the next steps:

Go to Directory -> Profile Editor -> select Okta User (default) -> Profile -> click on Add Attribute -> add the "persona" attribute.

Now to map the attribute, go to Directory -> Profile Editor -> Salesforce -> Mappings -> Salesforce to Okta user (if the attribute is sourced from Salesforce) -> map the "persona" attribute from your Salesforce instance to the one from the Okta User Profile.
