Okta does not request to log into the saved pages anymore

Hello,

One of our users is using Okta to store his credentials to log into his third party apps.

Usually, the pop-up window that you can see in the screenshot appeared to suggest an access everytime he was on those specific pages. He created his ticket on March 23rd.

This issue can be reproduced on Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

We approached this from different perspectives :

  • We checked the browser settings
  • We checked the plugin settings
  • We checked the Okta admin side settings

Could you let us know if this feature is still available ?

This is Florin from Okta support. The notification in question is from the Okta Plugin. We do not recommend to use it to store passwords and insert them outside of Okta, since his main functionality is to insert credentials for SWA type applications in the end-user's dashboard.

You can check our documentation regarding the Okta plugin:

    https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Apps/Apps_Browser_Plugin.htm

This is the default feature for that window. You can also submit a case with us if you have any other questions.

    Have a great day ahead!
