We were acquired by another company and have a trust between our systems. Okta is using our AD as a source for users to authenticate users access to apps. how can a user be added into Okta without adding them into our AD source so they can access our apps

Suggestion would be add an agent to tgat ad even if readonly to bring people in. Could also manually creat users(bad idea) could enable(i think its ga now) the selfservice registration. But ad is highly recommended
We dropped an agent onto the DC of a company we purchased to import their AD users to our Okta tennant. Just co-ordinate with their AD guys to map the correct OU.
