Hi, We have a customer facing cloud application in our organization. We also want to provide access to this application to our employees based on the department. Ex: If user is in engineering he gets to access certain features of application, whereas if user is in sales, he gets to access certain features of application.
How do i configure this?

you can choose to pass the department field to the app. Then in the app you map that field to a role. some apps need groups so you could then create groups based on roles and pass the groups to the app again then mapping the groups to roles in the app.
I hope you are speaking about the entitlements. Check with the SaaS Application, how they are handling it. If its based or attribute or group, push the same to the target system
