Hi,
Is there any way to have 1 SAML app, in which you have many different bookmark style apps, for which each bookmark app has a group assigned to it with a SPECIFIC email address, so that you can dynamically pass that bookmark app's assigned email address through to the SAML app?
We have many different shared logins, and do not want to have to manually manage credentials behind the SAML app, so it's easier to just setup generic logins in which we can assign people access to that login. Each person signs in individually to Okta with a personal email address, and would like each bookmark style app somehow tied to that SAML app to pass different shared credential emails over.
Is that or something similar possible?
Unfortunately, this is not possible at this time.
SAML apps don't use credentials.
You cannot add credentials or change an Okta Bookmark App in any way since the only customizable setting for it is the application URL. The Bookmark App acts only as a redirect to the initial application.
