GregH.00578 (Customer) asked a question.
We use getManagerUser to populate the manager attribute in our ServiceNow provisioning, which works fine with the exception of a single user. He exists in our subsidiary AD but his manager exists in our primary AD.
I've seen previous responses to similar questions and the answer is you can't point the function to another AD, but I have yet to see anyone post a workaround.
Since it's only 1 user, can anyone suggest how to accommodate this anomaly without remapping everyone else?
Thanks

Hi Greg,
As you pointed out, this would imply the usage of an expression to get the value from the primary AD, but this would lead to applying the mapping to all your users.
At the same time, it is hard to determine if there is a workaround or not as we would need to know more details about your environment so I would recommend to open a case with Okta Support for a more thorough investigation.
