We configured custom domains in accordance with the documentation provided here: https://developer.okta.com/docs/guides/custom-url-domain/enable-the-custom-domain/
After the setup everything seemed to be working as expected, until after a few days okta's redirect started to fail.
After contacting customer support, they recommended reconfiguring the custom domain. After doing that, the exact same thing happened: after a few days of working as expected, okta seems to flat out refuse to redirect to the custom domain.
Anyone have a recommended solution?

As you have already opened a ticket with the support team, I recommend that you let the engineer you are working with know that the issue persists so that you can proceed with troubleshooting it.
