    Hi Ozgur,

End users can create the Bookmark app, even thought they work as any other browser:

"Bookmark apps are used to direct users to a specific web page using Okta applications. They do not need credentials and simply work as normal bookmarks on any browser."

How to Create a Bookmark App

    https://support.okta.com/help/s/article/How-do-you-create-a-bookmark-app?language=en_US

Even though End users can request an specific app to be added to their dashboad by doing the below:

    Okta End-User Dashboard

Click Request and your query is sent to your IT department. You receive a notification on your dashboard when your request is approved.

    https://help.okta.com/en/prod/end-user/Content/Topics/end-user/dashboard-overview.htm

Admin, based on the Requests that the Users perform can create a SWA app for those apps that have been requested the most, by following the below:

Create a SWA integration using AIW

    https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Apps/Apps_App_Integration_Wizard_SWA.htm

Note: Who sets the credentials? — Choose who sets the initial password and username credentials: your end users or your org administrator.

If by any chance you need further assistance feel free to create a Support Ticket.

    All,

I have attached the screen where it says that users are not able to enter any credentials within a bookmark app.

Because its not a specific SWA app (think about it as a note for local credentials) the mentioned way is not working.

    Hi Ozgur,

We have the same problem, we would like users to be able to independently add websites in OKTA including a login / password, but this apparently has not been implemented in the software...

It's a shame because it is a brake on the adoption of OKTA by users who keep the habit of going through the favorites of their browsers for all websites, so if this possibility existed in OKTA we could deactivate password manager in browsers and they would only use OKTA ...

I think this choice is a bad strategy on OKTA's part, which ultimately results in users, administrators and decision-makers alike being unfortunately reluctant to use it.

    Hope things change ...
