Okta Mobile app Popup blocked

We are trying to use the Workday Learning to provide training to our users from inside the Okta Mobile app. When any Learning content is selected a Popup is blocked and the content is not accessible. Is it a standard function of the Okta Mobile app to block PopUp's?

  • Hi @dophr (dophr),

I'm not sure of this answer (WorkDay may be able to answer), but if their native mobile app supports Learning, then you could use Okta Mobile to authenticate you in to the native Workday app and then launch through there. Additionally, you may be able to login to Okta from the native browser and then complete the learning module from there too.

Let me know if any of this helps!

    Thanks!

    Tim

We have verified that the Workday Learning will work using the Okta web portal and Workday app. It also work using the Workday Mobile app. It only fails when using the Okta Mobile app due to the PopUp getting blocked.

      Thanks

    Hi Tim,

I am from Workday Operations Support.

This issue only happens when accessing Workday via the iOS Okta Mobile App, which launches Workday on a Mobile Browser within your App.

I was also able to reproduce the same issue when launching a SCORM package via SCORM Could within the iOS Okta Mobile App. This indicate the issue is with the iOS Okta Mobile App and not with Workday. There I receive the following error:

    "Error occurred!

    Failed to load player dependencies

TypeError: null is not an object (evaluating 'rscpCfg.get("learningStandard").indexOf')"

It seems an issue with your player on the iOS Okta Mobile App.

Moreover, I do not face any issues when launching SCORM packages on Workday or SCORM Cloud within the Android Okta Mobile App.

Please let me know if you need any additional information to investigate this issue.

    Regards,

    Francisco
