I tried using the app that is available and landed at https://login.forticloud.com/samlsplash? instead. When I try to go to the Login which appears on the top left it takes me to another login form but doesn't fill in the user/password.
I tried using the Template Plugin App and that login page using the "Copy Selector" from Chrome's Inspect feature trick that Okta support taught me. The login works once. After that I get 403 Forbidden errors.
It seems like there are two challenges and I'm curious to know if anyone else has solved them specifically for this case or from a larger view.
- What do we do when we notice that a vendor changed something so Okta's canned feature no longer works?
- Is it better to work with Okta to get this fixed or talk to the vendor of the site we're trying to leverage Okta to secure?

When you go to login manually from the website, does it create a new application (or offer to save the details to Okta)? It seems like perhaps the wrong Application was used or configured. Depending on which service you use, you may need to configure a new one using these steps: https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Apps/Apps_App_Integration_Wizard_SWA.htm
The better solution long term would be to work with Fortinet to get the SSO details so you can integrate using our App Integration Wizard.
