M A MohammedK.38376 (Star Knowledge) asked a question.

SMS Authentication

I enabled MFA factor: SMS authentication (set it as "Required") along with Okta verify with Push. When i try entering my mobile number by selecting my country "India" . It says this Only numbers located in US and Canada are allowed. Contact your administrator if this is a problem. What should i do?

    Dear Mohammed

Thanks for sharing your issue with the Community 😉

Regarding your question, I should assume that right now you are using a Preview Cloud Org. since is the only situation where I faced that kind of message setting up the SMS as a factor for authentication.

Attached you can can find a screenshot with what I face using my Preview one and selecting Spain as location.

SMS AuthenticationKindly confirm if my assumption is right or share further info to continue giving you inputs in regards.

Just in case you need to enable this option, I encourage you to raise a ticket in Okta Support and they will give you the best answer to your question.

International SMS (that is, outside the US and Canada) for MFA is usually an extra feature you'll need to pay for. Support will likely guide you this way.
