Hi everyone, would really appreciate some advice. Most times Okta works great in saving my organisations passwords etc. However there are two specific sites it just won't save for me. It works for my colleagues in vpn but for some reason I just cannot get it to save for me. I have reset the okta extension several times and cleared history, cache etc. Could anyone perhaps assist in clear layman instructions as I have never used Okta before. Many thanks 🙂

It sounds like you're talking about the Okta Browser Plugin, specifically.
What browser are you using? Is it the same as your colleagues?
You mention VPN: does it only work for people on the VPN?
You don't mention what the sites are, but from our guides "To enhance security, the plugin only works with trusted and verified sites."
Hi,
Yes it is the extension.
Using Chrome as a browser. Yes it works for others on the vpn and it is specifically the company zimbra email & a traking website that is not working for me. It seems to works for some and not oithers using the same programs.
Just curious as to why those specific two are not working for me so any advice would be great 🙂
I can only speculate that there's something about those sites that, when not on the VPN, the browser plugin is judging to be insecure.
But I am in the vpn when logging in and as we all have the same settings and programs it is really odd it doesn't save for me when it does for others.
Hi @jlv2m (jlv2m) ,
Can you tell me the URLs of the login forms that are not correctly saving the passwords?
Thanks!
