Okta as an API Gateway authorizer?

I'm trying to follow the guide here https://github.com/tom-smith-okta/okta-api-center/tree/master/gateways/aws to setup Okta as an API Gateway authorizer. I'm getting this error "Caught exception when connecting to https://[our domain].okta.com/oath2/default/.well-known/openid-configuration for issuer https://[our domain].okta.com/oath2/default. Please try again later. Error: Invalid issuer: https://[our domain].okta.com/oath2/default. Issuer must have a valid discovery endpoint ended with '/.well-known/openid-configuration'"

Curious if Okta has documentation for this use case.

We have done it recently. I think the official AWS-Okta integration document for AWS API GW using Lamba will redirect back to few git URLs.
