SuccessFactors Old End Date value
Hi,
We are using SuccessFactors as an HRMS application in Okta. When we are deactivating an user in SF we are updating the end date which are older than today(Example: Yesterday's date, last week's date) But after the sync Okta is deactivating the user but the end date is not getting synced into Okta profile. But If I am deactivating user with Future or today's date the end date is getting synced.
Can anybody suggest how I can resolve this.
I think that's the connector issue/bug, Because the user's end date is in the Past, when you deactivate the user OKTA connector assumes that there is a change happened in the user & deactivates the user accordingly. Once the user is deactivated. there is no change happening on the profile attributes because user status is deactivated.
I personally think it is the right behavior but you can check with Okta support further.
