G Suite Application - Provisioning tab missing
Hi there,
I am trying to configure the G Suite application and every instructions says to go to the Provisioning tab but it is not there. Could this be because we are not subscribed to the Okta Lifecycle Management product? If so, I am really only looking to sync the Okta and G Suite passwords. Is there a way to do this without subscribing to Lifecycle Management? Also, If I do have to get Lifecycle Management, should I get rid of Universal Directory? I am having some trouble understanding the benefits of Universal Directory if you don't use AD or LDAP services.
Hi Cameron. Yeah, you'll need LCM to get that Provisioning tab. You can speak to your account exec at Okta about that; there are options for just getting LCM for one application.
If you're not using AD or LDAP then UD can become the source of truth for all your identity info, and one place to manage profiles and groups from. There are a couple of posts on our blog about companies that have gone to UD only: https://www.okta.com/corporate-blog/tag/universal-directory/
