Taylor H (Customer) asked a question.

Device Trust on Android 10

I understand that Device Trust essentially doesn't work with Android 10+, as there was a change how Trust is communicated to OKTA. When is a workaround that doesn't involve running everything through the OKTA Mobile web browser (i.e. - when will native apps work) planned? Is Device Trust as we know it "dead ended" on Android as of v10?

Not dead-ended, at least that's not our plan. Our Product Managers for device management are working to have Okta FastPass handle this for Android 10 (and some previous versions) instead of Device Trust. Caveats: that's still very much in development so we can't yet commit to it yet, or to timelines, but there is a plan to close that gap. Stay tuned!

@User15851122134349081871 (North Central-Enterprise) Any update here, unless this is fixed for the current version of Android 11 I would have to also call out that Okta Device Trust is dead since Android 10 has been out since September 3, 2019.

FastPass is available for early adopters but only those that are eligible to move to our new Okta Identity Engine; you should check with your CSM or account exec to see if and when you can make that move.
