I'm an end user of okta and I recently signed on to the okta mobile where I was told to provide my companies domain name, username and password and after verifying that, I was told to create a 4-digit pin to log on and this was done sucessfully. I activated fingerprint verification on the okta mobile app. I logged on today using my fingerprint verification but as I was using the app I signed out of my account. I tried signing back in but couldn't do so using my fingerprint verification but I was instead told to provide my initial login details i.e companies domain name, username and password and the 4-digit pin. I was able to provide my initial login detail but I can't remember my 4-digit pin. Can I reset my 4-digit pin so I can log into okta mobile as I can still access my okta account online.

In this case, i don't think so you have option to reset it, you need to contact administrator/IT Department then will help you.
And you can mentioned them about the reauthentication issue - sometime it happens because of admin force you to do it or in some cases upgrade also cause the issue.
As far as I recall each time you sign out and sign back inside of the Okta Mobile app it asks you to set a new PIN rather then using the old one.
Just tested this on my phone and each time it asked me to create a new pin when I did a new Sign in.
Yes it ask me to create a new pin but it doesn't log me in even when I put in another pin and not the old one. I don't know why its different for me.
