I have cleared credentials, un/installed Okta Verify, done a MFA reset and MFA enrolled and un/installed Outlook and other applications. All is fine on the desktop but can't get past the sign in on my phone. Sign in attempts on phone receive the error "Unable to sign in".
Log simply report, "User login to Okta failure : INVALID_CREDENTIALS."
My time/date setting is on automatic (for some reason the past 2 Okta engineers attempting to solve the issue thought being set to manual could be the issue).
I can receive Okta Verify notifications on my phone but cannot use my phone to access email, webex call or Teams messages NOTHING.
Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

do you have multiple accounts in okta with the same name but different format ?
ex : Stephanie.Pollaro@company1.com and Stephanie.Pollaro@company2.com ?
Are the Okta logs showing the information for the correct username ?
Check the whole event logs one by one when you attempt the login.
See if the account falls in a sign-on policy and it's blocked while attempting the login..
Also , as mentioned before, check if the logs actually identify the correct person ( you ) or it's just a generic user.
Are you Okta Mastered / Ad mastered ?
I don’t know why but this seemed to do it. I am in and everything seems to be working fine.
