ym6uk (ym6uk) asked a question.

Okta Plugin not prompting to add on the fly apps.

Our Okta browser plugin is not prompting to add on the fly apps. I have enabled "Allow users to add personal apps" but it very inconstant for users to add on the fly apps. Most times it does not prompt the user to add the app when accessing a new site.

I opened a ticket with support and the explanation is that not all websites follow a standard.

When we used inspect the element in Chrome for the input box for the username, it specified a (type="text") in the element and Okta needs it to be (type="email").

I do have sites that say (type="text") that do work but assume that there is something in the element that is not the way Okta needs it formatted to trigger the App creation,
